Before we talk, three things will make our 30 minutes count:
Write out your timeline. One page, bullet points: what happened, when, in order. Include dates of any contact from agencies, lawyers, banks, platforms, or reporters.
Gather what you've received. Letters, subpoenas, emails, notices — have them in front of you on the call. Don't send them to me in advance.
List who has contacted you. Names, agencies or firms, and what they asked for.
Between now and our call: talk to no one about this matter (except your current legal team, if you have one).
Not coworkers, not social media, and not anyone who contacted you.
If an agent, investigator, or opposing lawyer reaches out before we speak, politely decline to answer questions and note the contact on your timeline.
